TalkBox Booth Innovates in Open-Office Privacy With New, Improved Model
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BOULDER, Colo. — Seven in ten American offices are now using open floor plans, but half of all workers are dissatisfied with the sound and privacy issues such environments create, according to a Harvard Business Review report. A brand-new model from TalkBox Booth leverages research and development informed by customer feedback to deliver an even more satisfying solution to these problems. TalkBox offers a sound-insulated privacy booth for noisy office environments; a place where employees can go to make a private call or get a break form the hustle and bustle of the office for a few minutes. As a truly modern update of the old-fashioned phone booth, the new TalkBox Booth is the best response to an increasingly common and significant open-office issue.
“We’re happy to announce that our new model is now available, with the first wave of customers already receiving deliveries,” said TalkBox Booth General Manager Nicholas Politte. “We truly appreciate the way that open office floor plans encourage collaboration and a feeling of community. Unfortunately, many workers today struggle with the privacy and noise level issues open offices can create. TalkBox Booth was carefully engineered to provide an effective solution to these problems, and the response has been overwhelming. Thanks to feedback from our customers and our own R&D efforts, the new TalkBox Booth model is even better.”
Detailed in full at talkboxbooth.com, the new TalkBox Booth goes beyond its highly successful predecessor with acoustic panels that absorb 99 percent of all sound that hits them. A longer-lasting, more resilient seal keeps sound from leaking through the improved booth’s brand-new door, and now the floor-to-ceiling glass insert is available in a variety of finishes, patterns, and shades.
One of the most popular options for the previous model has now been made standard, as every new TalkBox Booth comes with an integrated whiteboard wall for note-taking, brainstorming, and more. Other improvements include a larger skylight for more ambient light as well as a new dimmer enabling precise control of the light in the booth. To warm things up further three new wood finishes have been added, upping the number of available colors options to nine.
Top brands, large and small, including Google, Toyota, Healthcare Research Worldwide, The Mission Continues, and Smartly have already purchased the new booth in order to support their open-office employees with improved privacy and sound levels when making important calls. A major partnership with NBC Universal is putting the highly customizable nature of TalkBox Booth on display, with branded interior and exterior vinyl skins, printed acoustic panels, and a built-in touchscreen soon to be seen nationwide.
With the original TalkBox Booth already installed in many offices and universities throughout the country; stadiums, hotels, convention centers, hospitals, airport lounges and others are also expressing interest in the one-of-a-kind product.
